 Lead Us Home addresses the pressing need for inclusive community housing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The campaign unifies organizations, policymakers, and advocates to remove the barriers obstructing accessible and affordable housing. Our goal is a bipartisan approach to legislation that fosters community inclusion, ensuring every individual, regardless of ability, has a place they can truly call home.

Let Us Lead is LSA’s ongoing advocacy initiative focused on expanding opportunities for people with I/DD to contribute, participate, work and lead in their communities. People with I/DD have skills, interest, ideas, and perspectives that enrich workplaces, strengthen communities, and inform the decisions that affect their lives. Yet barriers in policies, systems, and community practices can limit access to opportunity, leaving valuable contributions unrecognized and potential unrealized.

We bring these barriers to light, connect advocates and community leaders, and engage policymakers, employers, and organizations to open more pathways to employment, participation, and leadership.


Two campaigns. One mission: a future where every person with I/DD is included, valued, and able to help shape their own future.
